Puppy Training……..?

I have taught my 11 week old puppy to sit, shake, down, rollover, speak/quite, and have house broke and crate trained him in less than 2 weeks but I cannot get him to stop nipping my hand or my pants. When he does this i either give him a toy to chew on or just stop playing with him. He also likes to snap when trying to give him a treat. He has been teething but it looks like most of his teeth are in. I have tried teaching him to "let go" but its not working. He doesn’t really chew anything up other than what i give him to play with when he does i say no and he quits but this nipping has got me stumped I don’t know what else to do. he doesn’t seem to be aggressive while doing it either.
do i spray that on my hands?

i saw the ad for puppy training apartment but i had some questions to the people that had it.
Am i able to train my dog to go out but have that as a back up just in case?
do you really think that its worth the cost?

Also, what’s the best age of the puppy to take them to a professional trainer?

I’m talking about puppy training in a class with other dogs and their owners of course.

My one year old maltese needs some training in some areas, and I wanted to try to train him myself instead of behavior classes because they are SO expensive. What are some good books that helped you or that you know of? Also, what is a good way to socialize my dog, besides the training classes, if any? He barks and growls at other dogs and sometimes people.

My 10 week old german shepherd has been barking and growling when I say no. Even though I will soon be starting obedience training im nervous about this side of him. Should I be worried about the future safety with of my cats or someones young child when hes grown up despite training?

I went to a puppy obedience class because I wanted my new puppy to be well behaved. Before the class, he would sit on command, come when he was called, sit for his food, and not jump up on people too much. The training is positive reinforcement. When he does what he is supposed to do, he gets a treat. Now, after training, he no longer does what he is supposed to do! He just jumps up looking for the treats! Now I don’t know what to do. I have only been to one class, and I’m not sure if I should continue. Has anyone else had this experience?

Any recommendations on dog training books? or a dog book that has everything in it from raising puppies, nutrition, dog breeds, to obedience training etc?

Our Am. Bulldog puppy just had his first puppy class last night and he did very well, but we get the feeling that our treats (Canine Carryouts) are not getting his attention. I’ve heard you could use hotdogs or cheese? What do/did you use for your puppy training (clicker) treats? Thank you!

I am 16 and would like to get some work experience teaching dogs tricks on my days off college. I have a 3 year old Border Collie that I trained and have taught obedience to, and have taught her many tricks :-) I don’t want to teach obedience, but tricks such as play dead, walk etc.. Like Kate & Gin off Britain’s got talent. What are these places called and how do I go about getting work experience there? Thanks

I was wondering if I should take my new puppy to a puppy training class, I haven’t really ever trained a puppy before and I want her to be able to listen to me and actually learn things the right way. She needs to get potty trained and also crate trained and I have no idea how to really do this. If you have ever taken your puppy to a training class please tell me how it turned out with you and your dog?
