Dog Obedience Training For Your Pet Dog

Any recommendations on dog training books? or a dog book that has everything in it from raising puppies, nutrition, dog breeds, to obedience training etc?

Our Am. Bulldog puppy just had his first puppy class last night and he did very well, but we get the feeling that our treats (Canine Carryouts) are not getting his attention. I’ve heard you could use hotdogs or cheese? What do/did you use for your puppy training (clicker) treats? Thank you!

I am 16 and would like to get some work experience teaching dogs tricks on my days off college. I have a 3 year old Border Collie that I trained and have taught obedience to, and have taught her many tricks I don’t want to teach obedience, but tricks such as play dead, walk etc.. Like Kate & Gin off Britain’s got talent. What are these places called and how do I go about getting work experience there? Thanks

I was wondering if I should take my new puppy to a puppy training class, I haven’t really ever trained a puppy before and I want her to be able to listen to me and actually learn things the right way. She needs to get potty trained and also crate trained and I have no idea how to really do this. If you have ever taken your puppy to a training class please tell me how it turned out with you and your dog?

I have a 10 week old lab puppy who will pee on the floor right after you bring him in the house. I spend a good 15 to 20 minutes with him outside and the minute he gets in the house he goes potty on the rug/floor. What is the best wayto resolve this? He loves going outside but he just doesnt do his peeing out there. Any suggestions?

And I know there’s petco and petsmart but honestly I’ve tried it and they did a horrible job. So any ideas

I just got my 9 week old pure breed boxer puppy and he is full of joy but how do i attract him to his training pad? i have everything else taken care of i but his urine scent on it will that help? any ideas?
