Step-by-Step Dog Obedience Training And Tips For Your Pet Dog

Dog Training?

Friend’s dog wont go outside when the other two dogs go out. They get along fine, but for some reason she just stares at you, and then runs away if you try to get her to go out. Of course, the result is, that she eventually has to urinate, and does so in the house. This happens several times per week. Dog is fully grown (not a puppy). Any ideas? Training methods or aids? Thanks!

I’m guessing these dogs haven’t grown up together in the same house? Try taking the dog out on a lease while the other two play. This way, the dog will have to go outside. It could be that the dog is shy while doing "you know what"…Plus, I always find it good to play with all the dogs at once while outside. By doing this, they get used to be on each others territory together.

Put the dog on a leash and take out side. I remind my dog to focus when he gets distracted. The dog whisper is a great source for information I would tune in or get the book.

Sounds like a panic attack. You have to take the dog out before the other dogs, or paper train it to go inside the house.

i’m in a similar situation right now, my puppy is almost 10 weeks ago and in the beginning was VERY afraid of the dogs behind us. there was a boxer and a chihuahua that would constantly bark at her because they were interested. i went out there with her and held her and let her know it was okay until she was okay to atleast stay out there for a little bit. try going out there with them

Take her out first….let her do her biz in private. I know that sounds funny, but it will work. The others can do their thing, and you won’t have to clean up any more messes.
