At 15 weeks old i would say take the dog out every half an hour and if she ‘goes’ then give her a treat, if she doesn’t then just bring her in and try half an hour later.
Every time she goes inside simply clean it up but do not punish or reward her. This teaches the pup pretty quickly that going to the loo outside gets her treats and she will start letting you know she wants to go out!

Take her outside regularly – about every 2 hours and stay with her until she performs – then praise her to the skies. Take her out as soon as she has eaten, when she wakes up and after she has been playing. If she makes a mess indoors, don’t tell her off, just put her where she can’t see you & clear it up making sure you get rid of every trace of the smell.
It will take more than a few days – just be patient and consistent & she’ll get the hang of it!

i suggest you get him/her housetrained first. this is the best idea. then start taking him for walks. and don’t be afraid to displine it. everyone needs discipling sometimes eh’?
feed him the best dog food you can find. But not to much! he may get diabetes! (i know dogs getting diabetes!) And bring him to the doctor once a month. Brush his teeth! and wash him! once i forgot to wash my dog for 2 monthes and he died of ticks =[
hope this helps! =]

i would limit the amount of water intake she gets as she is still a pup and has a small stomach, take her outside regulary on a lead but to go to the toilet as this tells her u are in control and she will go to toilet when you let her otherwise she will think its ok to go when and where she wants! if you are regularly taking her out then try taking her puppy pads away as this will let her think its ok to do it inside, it gives her mixed signals, im no saying take her walking every 2 hours just even out the back garden, if she does wet in the house, use sumthin with imonia in it as this gets rid of the dogs scent, you wil prob realise your dog is wetting nearly in same place as she can still smell her scent, hope this helps x

Hello. I just got a puppy too. I checked out the book called "Dog Owner’s Manual" by Dr. Bruce Fogle from the library and it is an excellent guideline for training your dog. It has a particular section about training your dog to go to the bathroom outside…so it should help you out! I hope it helps.

Every time she goes out side to do her thing, when she comes in, make a huge deal about it, and make her excited about the experience.
When you take her out, make the time out side fun but not distracting, use a word that you can use all the time with out for getting to resemble what she needs to do i personally use "piddle" as you can use it in a high voice and grabs the dogs attention if inside and you want her to go out. i have trained 3 dogs in my life time and have done the same thing over and over and with time it works.

Start setting yourself a timer that goes off every 2 hours and take her out every time it goes off. Keeping her leashed to you or around you will make it easier for you to spot her warning behaviors that tell you she needs to go out right NOW. Praise her like a crazy person when she goes outside, make it a little party for her.
If she has an accident just ignore her and clean it up with a good product like Natures Miracle. It also helps to put them on a feeding and water schedule. Give her food only at specific times during the day and offer her water about every 2 hours. Let her drink her fill and then take her out. Stop all water and food intake about 2 hours before you go to bed. She’s still young so it will take a little while but you should see definite results within a couple of weeks.

when i got my german shepherd i took her out every hour or so but especially 15 mins after a meal and i have to admit it took alot of patience on my part as i would stay outside with her until she had done something even if it was an hour while she was sniffing about, once she had done something i made the biggest fuss of her , after a few weeks of this she was fine i have only ever had one accident with her. be patient with her, the other thing you can do is if she is going in one certain place in the house then put newspaper down and when she goes on it take it outside as the paper will have her scent on it then encourage her to go where you have placed the paper then gradually remove the paper, i have heard of this way to work but if you can get her to go in the garden without the need for all that then all the better.

it can take up to a year to get female dogs clean but instead of putting paper down try the training pads which might help
If you take her outside every half hour and gradually increase it and tell her to do a wee and when she does praise her extremely well or give her a treat
Also buy puppy training pads from pets at home and also get puppy spray that you can spray on the pad and put the pad outside.

I would say take him to obedience school. There are experienced people there who can help train your dog to stuff such as go to the toilet outside. Whenever he does something wrong, scold him by saying no or bad dog. They can usually sense when you’re mad at them by the tone of your voice. This should also help your dog to not do it again.

I also have a puppy who is 13 weeks old and I take her out every hour until bedtime. Always take her to the same spot in the garden when she needs to wee or poo. Once she has done her business give her loads of praise and maybe a treat and then she will know that she has to go to the toilet outside.
