Fred, thanks for your (good) video.
Check my video, we had a dog traininig for our 1 year old beagle. Difficult for a beagle and a lot of attention because for their own behavior. We get many compliments on the street.
You have a great channel and videos. I will regularly check your site….

–cont. She chases deer too but could never catch a running hare nor a deer–too fast.
Can I stop her from the chase?
Would muzzling on the walk be a good solution? Which kind?
And what about getting prey from her?–almost seems it would make the problem worse.

Great video! So my dog is half dachshund She’s trained but with limitations. She’ll do what I say, but not always immediately–except for hares–she’ll chase hares and that’s bad. They are protected. She’s gotten two that were injured and not running and then was super food aggressive –and then ran with them till she could eat it all. cont.–
