    The connection makes the dog feel as if they are a part of you. It is also safer as the dog cannot run off.
    Work on doing off leash after you trust the dog will come when you call.

    You can do training off-leash. However, the leash can help focus your puppy on you as you train. Also, be sure to leash your puppy when you’re in an unenclosed area to keep your puppy safe.

    Hi, You should read the book “Someone For Scruffy” by Steven E. Farley. Book is for children on what to do and not to do with there new puppy. Great childrens book.
