Training courses are usually 6 - 8 weeks lond, group courses and you attend with your dog. The whole purpose is to train your dog, yes, but to train him to listen to you. And the owner also needs training. You obviously don't know how to train your dog or you wouldn't want to be "sending" him for training. Courses are 1 hour long and if you haven't got time to take a course, you sure don't have the time for everything else involved in having a puppy. You never send your puppy out for training. The training is about 5-15 minutes once to twice a day the puppy will be staying there its free with the exception of food/occational vet bills/dog toys/etc Its called the 'In House Training Program' the puppy stays at your house and you train it yourself. You can even train it to only obey you and ignore everyone else. Yes you have to be around to train it.
