No that would be a personal protection class but the obedience would have to come first. Also some dogs are not of the required mentality for protection work. You don’t use a naturally agressive dog for this ever.

No. It takes a special kind of training to attack on command. However, any dog that is well bonded with you will protect you. I have a 10 year old standard poodle to prove it.

No. Why would you want your pet to attack. Sounds like you got a dog for the wrong reason.

No. Obedience school teaches sit, off, down, come, etc.
Protection and Schutzhund classes teach those skills. http://germanshepherddog.com/schutzhund/index.htm

Schutzhund is the sport you are thinking of and it focuses on a dogs courage, drive to work, and obedience. Undue aggression and lack of control with the dog being tried in schutzhund are immediate disqualifies. The breed is (almost) irrelevant. A Lab could probably do reasonably well in schutzhund.

No – obedience training is just that. They help you train your dog to follow commands like sit, stay, come. I’m not exactly sure where you could take your dog to train them to sic someone. Obedience training helps your dog in socializing with other dogs. It’s really good for them. Ours looked forward to going every week and had a really great time. Obedience training will not make a mean or aggressive dog.
